It was the worst of times.".Many people have the same experience with the current state of life.In this post-pandemic era, two years after the global outbreak, many things that people could not have predicted before have happened.For the whole world, the global medical system has been tested unprecedentedly，the number of deaths caused by the epidemic is unprecedented, the global economic recession is obvious, the crisis of trust between countries has intensified, extreme natural disasters have occurred frequently, political turmoil in some regions and even wars have broken out.For China, despite the smooth implementation of domestic anti-epidemic policies, remarkable effects and wide acclaim, economic and social development has been impacted by the global economic downturn and the turbulent international situation.Therefore, how to seek development in this post-epidemic era, or think in a better way - seeking global common development has become a common concern of all countries.

     Seeking development means seeking cooperation.“We should enhance understanding and mutual trust, tighten the ties of cooperation, and deepen the integration of interests, so that the cake of cooperation will become bigger and bigger, and the forces of progress will become stronger and stronger, so as to make greater contributions to the realization of the beautiful vision of building a community with a shared future for mankind.”This is the content of the important speech delivered by Chinese President Xi Jinping at the opening ceremony of the BRICS Foreign Ministers' Meeting on May 19, 2022.In recent years, China has grasped the historical trend, adhered to the spirit of openness, inclusiveness, and win-win cooperation, and persistently promoted economic, political and cultural cooperation with other countries.This is indeed the case. Only by following the trend of the times of peace, development, cooperation and win-win, abandoning the thinking of hegemonism, unilateralism and protectionism, and realizing that human beings are a community with a shared future for mankind, can the world adopt a cooperative approach and create the future.

     Seeking development means seeking development effects.All human beings have seen too many bad results from focusing on development without paying attention to the multifaceted effects of development，like today's Aswan Dam and the previous Chernobyl incident，etc.We need to realize that the concept of sustainable development that focuses on the common progress of ecology, humanities, economy and other aspects is the central idea of development in the 21st century.The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development was adopted at the 70th session of the United Nations General Assembly in 2015 and officially launched on January 1, 2016.It addresses 17 SDGs and three dimensions of sustainable development: social, economic and environmental。

     As a staunch supporter of this agenda, China has been promoting sustainable development worldwide with a win-win attitude. All countries have witnessed that only by implementing the concept of sustainable development with a win-win attitude can development in the post-pandemic era be achieved
