【乐清市】The Voice of Chinese Youth

     Young people are an important force to promote social progress and carry the mission of the times. In 1919, a large number of advanced young intellectuals saved the Chinese nation from danger. In 1921, 13 representatives of the first National Congress of the Communist Party of China, with an average age of 28, sowed the seeds of the Chinese revolution on the red boat in the South Lake of Jiaxing.

     Times change but the spirit is eternal. Youth represents hope and youth creates tomorrow. China has always encouraged young people to show their youthful vigor in the practice of participating in and promoting the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind. From July 21 to 23, China held the World Youth Development Forum, bringing together the broadest forces for the implementation of the UN 2030 agenda for sustainable development.

     The youth of China have never let the world down. Chinese young people live up to the trust of the times, shoulder heavy responsibilities and forge ahead, from rejuvenating China to influencing the world.

     In the high-level strategic dialogue between China and the United States in 2021, a woman wearing a mask throughout the whole process conquered the world with her strong interpretation ability. She is Zhang Jing, a senior translator in the Translation Department of the Ministry of foreign affairs. She sends out the voice of self-confidence and self-improvement of Chinese youth to the world.

     Ding Zhen from Sichuan ranks first among China's top ten new youth in 2021. He unexpectedly became popular on the Internet because of his pure and simple smile and became a "new top stream". On the eve of World Earth Day on April 22, 2021, Ding Zhen was invited to participate in the activities of "defending nature" of the United Nations. He uses his innocence to send the voice of harmony and love of Chinese youth to the world.

     On the snow field of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, the figures of Chinese youth attracted the attention of the world once again. They are Gu Ailing, who voluntarily changed to Chinese nationality at the age of 15 and participated on behalf of China, Su Yiming, who is small but energetic, and Xu Mengtao, who has dreamed to be a champion of the Olympic Games since childhood... They send the voice of struggling and hard-working of Chinese youth to the world.

     In June 2020, foreign forces flagrantly crossed the boundary line of China. In order to defend the national territory, the border guards bravely stood up. Four young soldiers gave their lives. In August 2020, Chen Shun, who was from the Chinese peacekeeping force died bravely in the African Union United Nations Operation in Darfur. Chinese youth advocate peace, but they are not afraid of violence. They sent out the voice of peace and courage of Chinese youth to the world.

     As the most active and dynamic social force, Chinese youth should make contributions to global sustainable development, sends out China's voice, show China's vitality, and work with the world's youth to create a better earth.
