      In modern times, China continues to amaze the world by its superior achievement. For example, the ‘Chinese heaven eye’ FAST located in the mountains of Guizhou province, is the largest and most powerful single antenna radio telescope in the world. Its design comprehensively reflects China's high-tech innovation ability. It plays an irreplaceable role in solar terrestrial environmental research, national defense construction and national security. Its function is to search for cosmic signals. Maybe it will track the signal of aliens in the future. Above all, its cosmic signal search ability has shocked the world.

      In my opinion, the original goal to develop science and technology is to satisfy people’s need of a convenient life and we have made it. We have achieved the goal and science has benefited the whole world by its advantages. With the development of science, we improve the output of our crops and feed more people in the world. Smart phones make the communication faster and more convenient. Transportation changes the way people travel and explore the world.

      President Xi once said that technology is a heavy weapon for the country. The state relies on it and the enterprise relies on it to win, and the people's life depends on it. For the Chinese people to live a better life, they must have strong science and technology. The documentary ‘extraordinary future: Chinese science stories you don't know’ produced by famous Western directors has shown our superior achievement to the whole world. We are never too shy to prove ourselves. We are confident to show the world. We are proud of our outstanding science and technology. On the other hand, we should be aware that only when the country is strong can we have the strength and power of our nation.
