【乐清市】Unremitting Pursuit of the Space Dream

All of us were feeling every sense of pride when the astronauts of the Chinese space station stepped out of the cabin for the first time on July 4th. “It’s so beautiful out there.” said Liu Boming, one of the crew members. Developing space industry and becoming a space super power is what we have been unremittingly pursuing. From the man-made satellite "DFH 1" to "Tianhe Space Station”, the moon probe "Chang’e 1" to Mars probe "Tianwen 1", and the application of satellite service in economic and social development to the provision of services under Beidou Navigation System to countries from all across, China's achieved significant milestones all the way through facing the challenges and adversity.

We have been firm in faith and pursuit of the space dream. Since the launch of the “921 Project” of manned space exploration and the “Three Steps” strategy in1992, China has accomplished the first two steps, namely the "manned mission" and "stepping out of the cabin, automated rendezvous and docking and space laboratory". We are at the third step of “building the space station” and will complete the 11 tasks within the 2 years. During this process, Yang Liwei, Nie Haisheng, Liu Yang and other outstanding astronauts have emerged. They overcame many difficulties such as spacecraft resonance, orbital module fire alarm and communication interruptions. They have been firm in their belief. Bearing the mission of space exploration, they take steps forward without any hesitation. They taught us that only by holding firm beliefs can we accomplish the miraculous mission of flying to the space.

We also believe in constant innovations and win-win cooperation. During the process of the major projects such as manned missions, lunar exploration and Beidou navigation, there are lots of touching stories about Chinese space team who have been unceasingly innovating. China's construction of a space station not only shows the advanced level of self-reliance and self-improvement in science and technology, but also provides the whole world with a base and transfer stations to explore space, and ensures the better operation of remote sensing, communication, navigation and other satellites related to the national economy and national security. After the completion of the Tianhe Space Station in 2022, China Space Station Science Laboratory will receive the first nine scientific research projects from 17 countries. These research projects will focus on cutting-edge space fields such as space life science, space astronomy and biotechnology, which will be another grand event of international cooperation in space.

In the continuous human exploration of space, we have see "the brightest star in the night sky". In the future to come, China's space industry will face new opportunities as well as challenges. The space workers will, as always, establish their confidence, unity and forge ahead, and take the courage to conquer the peak of space science and technology, and cooperate with various countries to make unremitting efforts for the common space dream of mankind and leave a magnificent story along the great journey towards the new era.
