Hundreds of thousands of young employees of overseas Chinese-funded institutions work hard in foreign countries and make positive contributions to local economic and social development. Volunteer international Chinese teachers with youth as the main body serve in more than 100 countries, helping young people from all countries learn Chinese culture. The "Chinese Youth Volunteer Overseas Service Program" has dispatched more than 700 young volunteers to provide medical and health care, agricultural technology, civil engineering, industrial technology and other services in more than 20 countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America. The young officers and soldiers of the Chinese army actively participate in the UN peacekeeping operations. Chinese youth have proved with their actions that youth is an important force in promoting the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
